John Danner is a Vice-President at Daisy. He is a graduate of Trinity College, University
of Toronto, where he specialized in History with a minor in Political Science. John has a
certificate from U of T in Digital Strategy and Communications Management, is
completing a graduate diploma in Public Administration from Western University, and
beginning a Master’s of Environment and Business from University of Waterloo.
Before Daisy, John worked in political offices at the City of Toronto, the Legislative
Assembly of Ontario, and the Ministry of Transportation. He has extensive campaign
experience in a wide variety of roles at all levels of government. John brings his writing, communication, and research skills along with his hard work and dedication to all files.
Outside of work, John was active for many years on Providence Healthcare
Foundation’s Cuisine and Cuvee committee helping to raise over $200,000 annually
before the shift away from large in-person events. A true animal and nature lover, John
enjoys walks and hikes with his golden retriever Athena and reading by the fireplace
with his cat Bear.
