Sara Urbanowicz
Sara’s career spans many sectors: from working as an insurance broker to sales for a disinfectant manufacturer. Whether it is selling hydroponic equipment or a short-lived attempt at professional craps playing, Sara approaches life with a zealous drive for learning and jumping in head-first.

Her education at Ryerson, Operations Management program at Durham College, and interest in politics led her to Queen’s Park in January of 2020, working as operations manager and caucus liaison in the Government House Leader’s office. With views of gargoyles and a crash course in how government works, she found her footing in the fast-paced, gritty government atmosphere. Sara has a lifelong interest in both Canadian & US politics, leading her to Daisy Group.

In her spare time, she has volunteered for Jim Flaherty, Joe Oliver, Paul Calandra, and most recently Maleeha Shadid in the last federal election. Her personal interests include cannabis legalization and policy, and raising funds for the fight against animal cruelty. She has kept busy during the pandemic by oil painting, learning to cook, petting dogs, and impatiently waiting to resume travelling!
